Cavity Wall Insulation

Cavity Wall Extraction

There are types of insulation such as blown fibres, wools & urea formaldehyde foam that can cause problems due to being wet, or having reached the end of their usefulness or because they were installed incorrectly.

Any moisture will be retained within the cavity & can travel across into the inner walls causing damp & mould problems.

There may be several reasons why you may need your cavity wall insulation replacing:

Incorrectly installed insulation which is producing cold or damp spots within the building fabric.

Defective insulation

Insulation becoming wet through poor property maintenance.

Insulation becoming wet through flooding or fire damage.

Leaking roof or faulty guttering

Our team of cavity wall insulation removers have years of experience and can advise you on the best options for your extraction & re-installing new effective insulation, which in turn can save you money, reduce energy usage and remove any potential damp issues.

Cavity Wall Installation

EPS Climabead Cavity Wall Insulation transforms your property with the Climabead Superbead System.

The Climabead Superbead system is an injected expanded polystyrene (EPS) bead bonded with an adhesive designed for multiple cavity wall scenarios including masonry, and party wall.

It needs substantially fewer drill holes when compared to other cavity fill products & can be completed quickly & efficiently with a minimum of disruption.

Bonded beads give an excellent combination of price and performance and provides an alternative to mineral fibre insulation.

EPS beads have very good thermal properties and are water repellent, they do not rot or decay and do not provide nutrient value for insects, parasites or rodents.

The system is fully covered by an insurance backed guarantee including a manufacturer’s 25-year warranty.

The Climabead Superbead system will not allow water to cross the wall construction. The beads themselves allow for the safe dispersal of any water. The gaps that naturally occur between the spherical beads allow any water to drain down freely to the ground, rather than across to create damp problems on inside walls.

The structure of the installed blown bead allows the cavity to retain the ability to breathe with the cavity wall insulation in place.
